Anchor Section - November 2019
We are having lots of fun during our Friday evenings. At the beginning of this month was “Speak like a Pirate Day” and we had an evening based on pirates. Later on we continued with the theme of treasure and shared the story of the lost coin with the boys. This was followed by a treasure hunt.
At our last meeting we had “Secret Agents“ as our theme. During the evening the boys had to follow clues to rescue hostages that were hidden about the hall, kitchen and foyer. The boys went home with a set of their fingerprints. We discovered that each person has a unique set of fingerprints and that we leave our fingerprints wherever we go. We then talked about how God would like us to leave “good fingerprints” behind us.
There is further excitement in store for the next few weeks. We look forward to our annual Fancy Dress Party, attending the Remembrance Day Service with the parade afterwards and going sledging at Braehead. Any boy in Primary 1,2, or 3 is very welcome to join us.
