About Us

The 130th Glasgow Company, The Boys' Brigade is a youth organisation based in Broomhill in the west end of Glasgow, Scotland. Our three age sections all meet on Friday nights during school term time and membership is open to boys between the ages of 5 and 18. Each section runs a packed but varied programme of activities and events that is not only energetic but challenging and enjoyable.

Anchor Section - September 2019

Enrolment for the 2019/2020 session of the Anchor Boy Section of the 130th Glasgow Boys’ Brigade will take place on Friday 30th August at 6.30 pm in the small hall.

We meet on Fridays from 6.30 -7.30 pm. Any boy in Primary 1, 2 or 3 is most welcome to join us.

Most weeks we have a theme for the evening and this is reflected in our choice of Bible story, games and craft activities.
During the year we have parties, outings, take part in competitions and have visits from special guests including our friend Michael Kerins, a prize-winning children’s story-teller and author.

We look forward to seeing the boys and catching up with their news and also welcoming new boys into the section.
